Chapter 33 Post 9/11 GI Bill® and Transfer of Education Benefit

Documents may be submitted in Person or by Email: [email protected]. Please include your UTA Maverick ID (ex: 100199493) and that all scanned documents are legible.

Certification Steps

Step 1

  • Click here to apply for education benefits through the VA and receive a Certificate of Eligibility.

Step 2

  • Submit the required documents to the UTA Veterans Office inbox: [email protected].
    • VA Certificate of Eligibility
    • Official Degree Plan, signed by your Academic Advisor (classes enrolled in must be listed)

  • Submit an updated Official Degree Plan, signed by your Academic Advisor IF courses you are enrolled in are not on file with the UTA VA Office.
